At the new Behemoth recording, which was made at the Hertz Brother Studios in Białystok Poland, the Ehrlund mics were used for the entire recording.
5 EHR-M's were used as overhead and EHR-E's for toms. Moonmics were used under the floor toms. The drummer Inferno blasted the drums and this was the first Behemoth album where all drums were recorded all acoustic. No triggers or samples.
The album ”The Satanist” is a true Ehrlund experience if you listen to the drum sounds.
The monster engineer Daniel Bergstrand did the recording and Urban Näsvall did all the tuning and creative drum sounds.
